In order to use AFKMud, the following minimum conditions must be met:

1. The credits in the initial login screen MUST be left intact. You may add
your own credit information, ASCII art, or other information, but those
credits must remain intact AND visible on a standard 24 line, 80 column
telnet display.

2. You must send an email to afkmud@alsherok.net informing us you are using
the code. This is a simple requirement to fulfill.

3. All copyright information MUST remain in any data files relating to AFKMud.
You may add your own, change the ascii art to your own, reformat the text in
purple and yellow blinking text, but our information must remain intact.

4. You may not block the AFKMud development servers from accessing your mud.
These servers are currently located at: alsherok.net or arthmoor.com

5. We at Alsherok reserve the right to add, delete, or modify any or all of
the terms of this license as we see fit. You are required to comply with
any and all future changes to this license.

6. The use of illegal or unauthorized material, such as areas, code, or other
data files is strictly prohibited.

7. This codebase may not be distributed from any site without our express
written permission either by postal mail or electronic mail.

8. No form of payment may be accepted pertaining to the use of this codebase.
This includes accepting donations of hardware or equipment to operate the
mud from.

9. You must ALSO comply with the terms of the Smaug, Merc, AND Diku licenses
which are found in the afkmud/doc directory.

In order to be granted access to the AFKMud mailing list and/or the Intermud-3
afkmud_chat channel for technical support or other issues, the following
additional conditions MUST be met:

1. You must send an email to afkmud@alsherok.net with your Mud's name, and
current IP and port assignment.
