6Dragons modified smaug codebase has that teacher setting ability. I think Remcons LOP probably does too if you want to see examples.

Do you mean to set a skill to a certain teacher? If so you just make the skill and set the teacher on that skill to the mob vnum you want to be able to teach it.

How does one set what skills a mob can teach? Trying to make a mob that players can talk to when they hit lvl 100 in a class to see if they have the force. All i see is a practice flag...

So, I now work overseas for a few months at a time - and due to the remoteness of where I am - internet access can be rather limited (depending on where I am - internet for only 12 hours a day can be norm - and normally that's when it's inconvenient like overnight). So, I've been spending my time with SWR getting back into development. I'm curious as to if anyone has found any bugs recently or has any features they'd like to see added. I'm going to attempt to make regular releases and pour in

Duplicate mobs bug after hotboot

Sounds to me like resets are being run after the copyover/installarea, without actually checking their parameters (assuming they HAVE them). IE: you code a reset to load mob 3411 to room 2333 if it isn't there. Either the copyover screws up the game's knowledge that the mob is indeed already there, or the reset doesn't check and just blindly loads the mob there, present or not.

What version of SWR are you using? There's been a lot of discussions about resets here on these forums. However, before one goes about slinging links, best to know if your running a FUSS codebase or not. ayuri
