   <description>There&#039;s a big difference though between AI-assisted and AI-slop/vibe coding. As long as you kept the AI in check and made sure you understand what it&#039;s done to your code, you should be fine. Chances are on a lot of these older codebases it will have no trouble finding issues and suggesting viable solutions to them.</description>

   <description>My now very old smaug derived code i abandoned some time because at that time there were bugs that I did not have the skills to fix. I went onto other projects and in the intervening years, have been writing a server from scratch that has the same feature set. Eldhamud had 150,000 lines of code and my new server has less than 30,000 while also matching Eldhamud feature for feature and thats including offline build tools and client written in python.  Anyway, we got some new shiny advanced AI </description>
