I have seen this on some diku RPIs and SWFOTEFUSS and would love to do this with AFKmud (meaning, having simple short descriptions for characters instead of their names in-room, so that others have to learn who everyone is instead of having to rp that that they can't see their names ). I had a copy of a mud magazine that had some info on how to do this, I will have to see if I can find that...
