Hi!

Running SmaugFUSS:

I recently installed the finger snippet, cleanly, no bugs on compile for the most part except for:

finger.c: In function `do_finger':
finger.c:277: too few arguments to function `load_char_obj'
make[1]: *** [o/finger.o] Error 1
make: *** [all] Error 2

so I go to line 277 and remove it (it says to take out the FALSE in a comment by Samson, so I figure hey! He's the man right?)

make clean, make all... no more errors

So I go over to the mud side and make the commands, finger frobozz (me) and it looks nice..but then I finger someone not on... and it crashes, completely. I load them up, finger them... works great.. force them to quit.. finger.. crashes

Anyone know the solution to this?

What does your definition of load_char_obj() look like? Mine, for example, running AFKMud 1.63, appears as this:

bool load_char_obj( DESCRIPTOR_DATA *d, char *name, bool preload, bool copyover )

Might try putting that line back in and adding a 2nd FALSE to it.

the second false was lacking in the snippet, maybe a comment in there for smaugFUSS?

It's a really great snippet, and smaugfuss is equally cool.

Thanks!

Or I could just add the second FALSE so the comment in the file now makes more sense
