Hi all, well i have disobeyed the instructions to not install overland unless you are a good programmer, and even tho im a complete newbie i have managed to install it all, and to have it all working but for 1 issue.

I for some reason (most definitely coder error) cannot set an exit from the overland map back to an area file. This is the process im going through to make the exit.

setexit create (works)
setexit area somearea.are (works) area also has contenent added.
setexit vnum 21000 (fails) No such room exists. is the error given.

I have looked through do_setexit and can see it fails in this section of code
vnum = atoi( arg );

   if( ( location = get_room_index( vnum ) ) == NULL )
   {
      send_to_char( "No such room exists.\r\n", ch );
      return;
   }

and am assuming that my get_room_index is always NULL. Now im pretty sure i prolly made a mistake somewhere in all the additions that were made, i just cannot find it, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Spall.

Please ignore my ignorance in the previous post, seems that setexit doesnt accept the arg vnum like it does for area, man it helps when i read the code propper like and not just skim over it.
