I have AFKMud 2.1.5 compiling in Cygwin and hosted on my dev machine. Most everything's fine, however, after a copyover I can't really do much. This includes using goto to go to a room or person, using say and many other things. Has anyone else experienced this?

I seem to recall having a similar problem with my FUSS derivative while trying to get the dynamic command support to work, and I believe it was somehow related (i.e. the commands no longer working after a copyover). Wish I had better news for you, but I'm not remembering any kind of resolution, at least not in my case.

For what it's worth, I'd be surprised if the two were not related somehow, based on your description of the problem. Then again, this might be a simple makefile issue, since I doubt most AFKMud users have this issue or it would have been prevalent before.

Check the makefile options and see if you missed something, otherwise it might be a Cygwin specific issue (I was also using Cygwin).

Hope that is even remotely helpful.

Yeah, I'm fairly certain it's specific to Cygwin. I don't have my server turned on at the moment, but I can't recall having this issue there. I'll test tomorrow. Not sure what could possibly cause it in the Makefile though... :(

There are some options in the makefile for Cygwin and the dynamic commands stuff, if memory serves. Might want to double check that what should be uncommented is, in fact, uncommented. That's what I meant.
