Hey out there. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to set me up with a bit of space to host a SWFotE MUD. I want to make a full game with better ships, planets, and special stuff and then let it run loose.

If anyone out there is willing to help, I would appreciate it.

Thanks!

Hosting is relatively cheap, about 8 dollars a month in fact.

You can also "host" the MUD on your own computer easily, and most importantly, for free.

Might be too late, but I own a free mud hosting service. Been running it for a while now on a fairly powerful server.

www.themudhost.net

Dual Quad-Core AMD Opteron 2.3 GHz CPU's
16GB DDR2 667 ECC Memory
RAID1 Array for Operating System and RAID5 for Data

I try to give my users anything they need. Space is not an issue.

Ahh EvilEyeHosting.net I had wondered what had happened to that mud shell service

thanks for all you do offering free shells to those of us who can't afford it

I actually have one at b.armory.com, but I still wanted to thank you for your generosity

I'm using genesismuds.com they give a better price if you buy a year at a time.

most will give a discount if you pay a year ahead :) I currently use none, but one of these days I might check into getting a free one for testing and maybe running one lol

I actually just sent in an application to theMUDhost.net to try and get some hosting space because my host is just getting a bit funky.

Hi,

I would like to know if anybody can tell me What are the requirements to have a themudhost.net free space?

I'm looking for somewhere where you can host my test mud.

Thanks so much.

Antram

Just submit an application. Due to time constraints I may take a day or two to look at it.
