Greetings to one and all! While I've been attached to the forums for a while, it was mostly to read through the snippets and codebase to try and learn. Well, I got put in the hot seat for 6 Dragons and now I suppose I should say 'hey' officially...or something.

I'm the noobest coder you might know, but I have sense enough to do all my work on a local server--I'm a fan of cygwin at the moment heh--so as not to critically damage the mud. Luckily, 6D is stable and I can simply compare what I want to do with what's currently around to get what I want done. Failing that, you'll see me posting here. I blame all our official coders for having a real life and saddling me with this. Ah well, had to dive in and learn sooner or later.

an 'official coder' is one listed in the game that actually shows up on a regular basis to, you know, do coder-like things heh instead of me doing it and screwing things up

I'll believe the "or something" for sure, knowing Vladaar.

Ah, in my experience those tend to come and go in phases/cycles.
