Anyone happen to know a good site for AFKmud programs??

I wanna learn how to do them pretty good, but.. i'm having trouble learning from a different type of mud.. SWR Programs are a lot different from AFKmud/Smaugs

If anyone can possibly help me out, thanks.

If not i'll have to look around, hope to find something good to try to learn from..

Dig up a guide on how to do Smaug progs, since SWR and AFKMud are both derived from Smaug, the knowledge would apply to both.

Try there, Herne's SMAUG Building Guides. Has some nice tutorials on building with SMAUG, covers pretty much everything.

*drools on his progs* Oh, sorry. If you have any specific questions, I'm sure we can try to answer them for you, even if we don't have time to tutor you in them completely. Once you learn the basic format and boundries of them, the sky's the limit. Sometimes you'll have to work around the hardcoded things, but who works in code that hasn't had to do that before?

I took a look at that site, it's very nice and is very useful, does anyone happen to have one for the swr codebase, specificly SWRIP?

Wow, talk about bringing back the dead.. this thread's last previous post was 4/25/2004...

Anyway, to answer your question, I don't know of any sites or guides for SWR, let alone for SWRIP, but, like AFKmud, it's based on Smaug and Herne's is certainly as good a starting point as you'll likely find even today.
