I personally think that this board is more useful than an e-mail based list. There is no spam on this board, and I don't receive a zillion "unsubscribe" messages from people wanting to leave the list.

Now that I think about it, I am full of crap. This message was spam now wasn't it.

I think the forum works out much better. Mailing lists have become too hard to protect against unwanted spam, and I don't think any of us here have enough time to devote to a moderated list. So I think we'll just stick with what works
