I am just getting back into muds again after a long side trip to WoW. Alot has changed, so my question what codebase should I use ? I am a beginer at programming, I have a large imagination, and I have a sewt goal as to hopw I want the mud to turn out.
I need sonme thing easy to understand as far as coding goes, features of the mud are irrevalvent right now, although the more commands the better because that means less work for me to do. But I would like to become better at programming by impimenting my own commands.

Any help here isgreatly appreciated.

Read this: http://www.gammon.com.au/forum/bbshowpost.php?bbsubject_id=2293

Anything that you are familiar with and that is stable is a good choice.

Of course, since you're here, the most logical recommendation is SmaugFUSS :)
