This snippet allows for players to learn spells by researching a wand, scroll, or staff that is in their inventory.

Original writer is GenmaC (using smaug 1.4a)
Porting by Raven Nightshade (using LoP 1.39)

It should port over to LoP 1.40, easily enough. My version of the code has been modified from the original 1.39... so ... a few bugs 'may' come around. Have fun!
