Primarily a laziness feature that allows you to add new commands without the tables.c hassles by using libdl. Far more portable than the old BFD snippet. Includes instructions to convert from using BFD if you already have that installed. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO INSTALL on a C++ based version of Smaug unless you KNOW what you are in for!
