The O-Wing Starfighter was SoroSuub's answer to the Rebel A-Wing interceptor, with a similarly high speed, the O-Wing however suffered from a low maneuverability and a restricted weapon load. The O-Wing however had a powerful punch, and was freely available on the open market which led to some popularity, especially after the Battle of Endor when markets were opened up somewhat by the formation of the New Republic. Owners tend to want to upgrade the rather puny shields, and many complaints have been made the the wing that gives the fighter its name blocks the pilots field of vision.
