Soon after the Empire made a racer and Silence Industries started to beat them the New Republic made it's own racer. The U-wing looks like a U with the twin engines jetting off to the back. The cockpit has a giant symbol for the New Republic painted on its roof. Also a plush black leather chair seats the pilot in this sideways stretched cockpit. Though is has a bit of an odd look it does nicely in the races winning about as many as Silence Industries.
