Version 1.53 of AFKMud has been released.
This is a bugfix/maintenance release.
Standard disclaimer type stuff: Changes in this version may or may not remain compatible with your older support files, such as areas, commands, skills, socials, etc. If things break, you were warned.
Bugfixes this release:
A bug in areaconvert that apparently doesn't want to die. [Samson]
Fixed a bug where *ANYONE* with I3 access could make it log channels to disk. OOPS. [Samson]
Non-Bugfix alterations:
Changed the structure of char_to_room to provide better debug info. [Samson]
Altered stat m/o/r to list the names of progs attached. [Samson]
Tweaked weapon styles to advance slowly during combat. [Tarl]
Adjustments to the random treasure code. [Samson]
Added ability to deny use of I3 channels to individual users. [Samson]
Removed the useless PLR_OUTCAST flag and outcast_time variable. [Samson]
Removed all IMC2 code hooks. [Samson]
This package also contains some extra doc files. For now you'll need to grab em from the areadocs dir in the full package. At some point we'll be putting up a documentation page on the distribution page. Thanks to Dwip for putting these together and making sure they were acurate

And now, for today's "Oops!"
Some of the doc updates that got released with this version are based on way out of date or otherwise bogus docs. We are at this very moment (he says, switching out of Wordpad) working on the problem. Expect to have something usable, oh, soon.

And just because I'm sure you're all wondering which of the docs got actual updates and which didn't, I shall tell you.
Most of them, really.
Addclass.txt is a brand new one on how to add classes.
Addrace.txt is a brand new one on how to add races.
Itemgen.txt is a brand new one on how to use automatic armor and weapon generation. It ties in a lot with Runes.txt and Treasure.txt, so make sure to read all of them.
Mobiles.txt has had a few minor corrections made.
Objects.txt has been substantially corrected in light of the *gen systems and a few other things.
RentGeneration.txt is the same rent doc that was posted on this forum for a time, but is new to the actual release.
Rooms.txt has had minor modifications made.
Runes.txt is brand new, and describes the runeword system in AFK. Read it, Itemgen.txt, and Treasure.txt together, or you'll likely be confused.
Treasure.txt is brand new as well, and describes the workings of the random treasure system. Like I said, read this with Runes.txt and Itemgen.txt.
Values.txt has been totally overhauled, losing bits, gaining bits, you name it.

Did the New Necontinent.txt get added too?
Just curious cause there where quite a few questions about it.

Should have. I remember copying it in at some point along the way.
