Version 1.60a of AFKMud has been released.

This is a bugfix/maintenance release.
A patch file exits in the download area.

To apply: place the patch file in your afkmud directory and use the following:
patch -p1 < 160apatch

Standard disclaimer type stuff: Changes in this version may or may not remain compatible with your
older support files, such as areas, commands, skills, socials, etc. If things break, you were warned.

Bugfixes this release:

mxp_obj_str sent invalid closing send tags. [Samson]
Several unchecked edit buffers have been fixed. [Samson]
Crash bug in do_disconnect has been fixed. [Xorith]
Syntax message for do_nremove fixed. [Samson]
Syntax message for do_bset fixed. [Samson]
Invalid call to do_redit fixed in do_redit. [Samson]
Renaming an area file now properly saves the new file. [Samson]
Zombie processes in shell commands have been solved. [Xorith]
Name of person using a snoop was being sent to the snoopee. [Samson]
Exits in prototype zones will now be processed properly at bootup. [Samson]
Edit buffers will no longer truncate improperly with a tilde. [Samson/Xorith]

Non-Bugfix alterations:

Smaugspells can now be flagged with SF_NOMOUNT to stop use while mounted. [Samson]
Removed do_punch, do_sneak, and do_hide. Already working as smaugspells. [Samson]

All in all, I'd say this update had surprisingly few bugs to fix. Nobody else has reported anything more than what you see here, so with any luck it'll be awhile before any kind of updates come down the pike at this point. Anything minor will proably just be reported, fixed in the tree, and held for whenever the time seems right to make another update. I'm not relishing turning this into another 5 billion patches kind of thing this time.
