Well here I was -
Actually had some spare seconds to play and try to get that area installed - see the code forum.

Following Samsons directions till I got to the first step - ie making the new exit on my map.
sorry that command is not allowed in this port

so I start playing - seeming to remember that multi ports could be turned off somewhere with the new patches.

well long story short - I blow up my mud - and now it seems as though my backup script - has actually not been functioning - and making dead files
CRAP!!!!

found a copy of the directory that had the mud in - copied that over, and made it - working again


   

The moral of this little tale? Backup, backup, backup! ( and make sure they're VALID backups )

*GASP* Samson, telling someone to back something up !? And after the number of times he has chided me about making too many backup files everywhere ?
