Has anybody ever considered porting over DGscripts
I was just wondering if anybody has ever tried or if it was even possible. I haven't been able to find a port over on any forum I can find
the reason I ask is because it really is a robust trigger system, of course I don't know if you can set variables with progs or anything like that so I may just be uninformed

Not DG that I know of, however Nick Gammon on his site has nice snippet for adding LUA and you can do prob same thing with LUA you would want to do with DG.

LOL well if you ever decide to port it over let me know Remcon. I'm pretty familiar with DGscripts and wouldn't mind adding that to my mud..
but of course my coding skills severely lack to do something of that magnitude

I winrared all the dg_files from TBAmud
I don't know if that is all you need, let me know if you need the whole TBAmud codebase
I uploaded it under other smaug codebases because I couldn't think of anywhere else?

thanks, for the most part these aren't to much harder than the olc you just got done adding in. there will be some changes for the differences in things you will have to make. If you do try it though id suggest using a clean base or yours only after you get a recent backup

Oh I don't make any changes to the main base until I get it working properly
I do all adding on a different port with a different copy of my mud
then after it works I move the files over to my main copy

really no way to tell. your best bet is using those files and a base that has them in and working use the two to figure out how to get it ported over, it can get annoying, but you can get it done
