loading proto areas on boot?

just wondering if there is a way to have all the proto areas from the building directory load on boot?

Just look at load_area command for prototype areas.
Take the guts of that and put it in db.c where you load normal areas.

thanks. That is what I was thinking too... the issue is that Vnums isn't showing the proto areas unless the character is online... which isn't how it should work.
I'll attempt to gut and re purpose this as suggested and get back to ya
