I took the general idea from FotE/Guild Wars. Rather than having immortals taking their time to build little things like houses, why not create a “buildhouse/buildhall†command. Then create templates of stock houses/clan halls. Maybe 5 different templates of different sizes of houses, allowing a player to then just buy the plans and have it built rather than forcing a immortal to do it. Then if it’s a problem about changing names/descriptions you could always make like a “paint†command to rename the descriptions. For buildhall (for clan halls/HQ) you could create different styles of clan halls then in the template adding a argument to be replaced with the guild’s name, for example.
“Buildhall crypt The Assassin’s Guild†would create the crypt style clan hall, and any $c’s in the template would be replaced with The Assassin’s Guild when needed.
